The first 'immersive' party - I rented 38 palm trees from the lovely people at The Palm Centre. Thank you once again to Greg, Gabrielle, Tovi and Amy who helped carry them up three flights of stairs.
An important aspect of this event was the sound - there was 1200W of studio speakers hidden around the room (behind trees) playing two libraries of sound, mixed together. One playing rain, thunderstorms, the sounds of the forest etc. The other was playing (mostly retro) forest/tree themed music.
A great moment was when we brought the music right down and just played v. loud thunder and rain for a while, before bringing in "Run Through the Jungle" by Creedence Clearwater Revival over the top of all of that.
